Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and plating to ensure timely service Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards Manage multiple tasks effectively, including taking orders, processing payments, and upselling menu items Support the team during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by demonstrating professionalism and teamwork at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not essential Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food preparation skills Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and team members Willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and culinary procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and reliability

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-18.80 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
