Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks, from food preparation to serving, all while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders and providing recommendations when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies as needed and reporting shortages to management. Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and cash handling.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Basic culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in basic maths for order processing and inventory management. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while providing outstanding customer service.
