Job Description

You will be responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

Principal responsibilities



Support and manage a team of Care & Support Workers Help with on-call in case of emergency out of office hours. To maintain close liaison with both the Care Manager and Care Coordinator Act as a link between the client and the office Oversee care quality control Monitor and supervise care service Attend care calls when required Support the office with Admin work

ABOUT THE ROLE:



Accountable for the Health & Safety of staff and clients Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and approved practice, promoting business aims and values and continually review and improve Identify and recruit high-quality Carers, implement excellent training and maintain high retention ratios. Ensure the provision of staff training is implemented and the delivery of very high-quality care services, to vulnerable people living in their own home, is achieved consistently. Ability to ensure scheduling is effectively designed so that Carers deliver the allocated care to the client. Take ownership of quality assurance and governance through scheduled Spot Checks, Service Reviews, Internal Audits and Annual Surveys. Ability to complete and continuously improve the Assessments, Risk Assessments and Support Plans Take responsibility for ensuring the emergency on-call mobile phone is covered outside normal office hours, including holding the phone as part of the on-call rota. To be a key figure in ensuring the business grows sustainably but in line with commercial targets.

Experience:

Care industry: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Full UK Driving Licence Have your own car NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care

Experience:

supervisory: 1 year (preferred) providing care: 2 years (preferred)
