Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards Assist in the preparation of a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of meals Follow all health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure food hygiene standards are met Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed Contribute to creating a welcoming environment for colleagues and customers alike

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a professional kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is essential Experience with meal preparation and culinary techniques will be highly advantageous Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving and customer service, is desirable Prior kitchen experience demonstrating efficiency, organisation, and teamwork skills is beneficial
