About the role
As a Technician Trusted Assessor, you'll carry out TEC assessments and installations in service users' homes, identifying the most appropriate equipment to support independent living. You'll work closely with carers, families, and health & social care professionals to ensure our solutions meet individual needs and deliver measurable outcomes.
You'll also be involved in maintenance visits, demonstrations, and education for users and carers -- ensuring each person has the confidence and knowledge to use their technology effectively.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Carry out TEC assessments and recommend personalised assistive technology solutions.
Install, maintain, and upgrade TEC equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer and TSA standards.
Provide clear demonstrations and training to service users and carers.
Undertake equipment servicing, fault-finding, and removal as needed.
Liaise with stakeholders and service providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing service improvement.
Participate in clinical supervision and continuous training to remain up to date with emerging technologies and assessment practices.
Maintain and safely operate a company vehicle and associated equipment.

Qualifications and experience required.
Experience working with vulnerable adults, including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health, or older adults.
Knowledge of assistive technologies and their role in supporting independence.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to show empathy and patience.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Good IT and record-keeping skills.
