Tech Lead



Duration: 6 Months



Location: London (Paddington) 3 x days a week.



What you'll do



Lead and define application architecture/ design to build modular, well
tested web applications on cloud that remain easy to maintain as the

codebase and business continues to scale. Take pride in "You build it, You

Ensure software is built with scalability, security, performance and
reliability consistent with MACH engineering principles while supported by

architecture frameworks and patterns defined by wider Engineering

community with focus on delivering business value.

Understand and apply industry best practices, foster knowledge sharing
to provide solutions for complex business problems where no precedent

may exist and ensure implementation of solutions where appropriate.

What you'll need



Technical Leadership: Demonstrable experience leading multiple
technical squads or a portfolio of technical disciplines working across senior

stakeholders in product, delivery, enterprise/solution architecture and

engineering.

Development Expertise: Deep knowledge of modern software
development toolsets including Cloud hosting, Containers, Kubernetes,

API's, DevOps Continuous Integration and Delivery in GCP (preferred), Azure

or AWS.

Language and frameworks: Proven experience of Typescript / JavaScript
libraries tooling such as Node.Js, Fastify, Next.JS (App Router), React with

headless CMS like Storyblok, Contentful or Contentstack

MACH Engineering: Strong experience of micro-front end, micro-service
Api design, event driven headless architecture along with RESTful APIs and

web services.

Build and Deploy: Demonstrated success in building and managing full[1]stack applications across the full spectrum of environments--including local
development, integration/QA, staging, production. Ability to tailor

deployments, configurations, and monitoring strategies to suit the unique

requirements of each environment.

DevOps: Familiar with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD
pipelines and containerisation (e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker etc.). Experience

with Kubernetes-based environments, particularly Google Kubernetes

Engine (GKE), or similar orchestration platforms is highly desirable.

People Leader: Leadership experience including line management, team
leadership, mentoring and task management.

Pay: 350.00-390.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
