A leading professional services firm is seeking a

Technical Lead

to support its Advisory Technology function through a major transformation programme. This role is central to the industrialisation of generative AI tools and their deployment across the business. You'll work at the intersection of strategy, design, and delivery-driving technical excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the newly established Technical Design Authority (TDA), including solution triage and technical risk oversight. Act as the primary liaison between Advisory Technology and project delivery teams. Deputise for the Advisory CTO and report on technical delivery progress. Co-develop the AI strategy and roadmap with senior leadership. Ensure technical solutions meet firm-wide standards and are scalable, secure, and sustainable. Support engagement leaders in managing technical delivery risks across a portfolio of AI-driven projects.

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong experience with Azure cloud services. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (eg, Terraform). Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Expertise in designing and optimizing generative AI models, including prompt engineering for LLMs (eg, GPT, BERT). Deep understanding of AI/ML algorithms and scalable cloud deployment. Experience leading technical design decisions and running TDAs. Strong stakeholder engagement and delivery planning capabilities. Passion for automation, cloud architecture, and secure-by-design principles.

Desirable Qualifications

BSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field (MSc or PhD preferred). Advanced certifications in AI/ML, cloud computing, or data engineering.
