We are seeking a Tech Sales Executive to join our growing team in London, UK. This is a unique hybrid role at the intersection of engineering and sales, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge custom technology solutions for novel applications.
You will not only be responsible for generating leads, engaging with potential clients, and closing deals, but also for scoping technical projects, preparing accurate quotations, and advising on solution development. Compensation
This position offers a competitive base salary and strong commission structure, with on-target earnings (OTE) of 2,000 base + 2,000 commission per month, and potential commissions exceeding 3,500+ per month with strong performance.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and client engagement.
Scope technical projects, prepare proposals/quotations, and present them to clients with both commercial and technical insight.
Advise on solution development by drawing on knowledge of hardware, software, and design.
Manage projects with an understanding of engineering constraints and opportunities.
Collaborate closely with the engineering team, joining technical discussions and contributing ideas to solution design.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
Stay current with market and technology trends to identify opportunities for new solutions.
Requirements
Experience in technical sales, engineering sales, or tech business development.
Strong foundation in engineering or technology (hardware/software/design knowledge preferred).
Prior exposure to tech prototyping or custom solution development is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear client value.
Ability to scope projects, negotiate effectively, and deliver professional presentations.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to contribute to both sales outcomes and technical success.
Strong time-management and organisational skills.
