Position: Technical Account Manager

:

We support our channel partners from initial consultation, planning and design, engineering build through to implementation and post-sales care.

Aim of the Role

To support a set of security vendors within the Arrow portfolio, in growing their revenue within the Irish market.

1.Participate in Business Discovery Workshops, with the end goal of being able to delivery a Business Discovery Workshop

2.Take ownership of the Arrow FAQWiki and understand how and when to extend/maintain it

3.Be able to deliver the current IBM Strategy and Route Map white board to Arrow and BP stakeholders as needed

4.Have access to the IBM, Arrow and other links to valuable business resources, such as Partner Plus, Seismic, IBM product & skills spreadsheets

5.Be given introductions to valuable IBM staff aligned to the Arrow business

6.Be able to provide a business partner with an \xe2\x80\x9cenablement & certification\xe2\x80\x9d analysis, based on the current skills and certifications of their staff, and what they want to achieve/resell

7.Take ownership of the reusable collateral for delivering partner networking events, and understand how to plan, prepare for and deliver such networking events

8.Take ownership of the collateral for delivering Arrow Quarterly Webinars to the BPs, and be able to plan, prepare and deliver such webinars

9.Liaise with the Arrow BDMs to understand their roles, solution areas, and key partners

Professional Skills/Experience:

Good technical knowledge and experience in pre-sales positions is a must have

A full driving license and readiness to travel

Fluency in English

Good communication and negotiation skills

Ability to build and develop strategic business relationships

Self-motivated with a hardworking and proactive approach

Effective communication with people at all levels

Natural propensity to adopt a structured approach i.e. managing time in the office and on the road, determining who key decision makers are and the dynamics of the sales of complex projects.

Ability to learn product benefits and solution sales concepts including working with alliance vendors.

Problem solving and capacity to follow through on a task to conclusion.
