We are looking for a motivated Technical Administrator to join our team and support registered firms to demonstrate corrective action is taken to meet the certification requirements. Under the direction of the Operations Manager and Technical Manager, the Technical Administrator will play a pivotal role at SSAIB and work with the wider team to improve processes, develop effective ways of working and be actively involved in undertaking technical projects and research. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your technical skills within a supportive, team-focused environment, ensuring British Standards are adhered to at all times.
Key duties include:
Complete assessments of evidence provided by registered firms relating to nonconformity reports (NCRs)
Providing technical guidance and assistance to administrative staff and auditors to aid and
develop their knowledge
Answering technical and general queries on the phone and by email
Communicating with customers to ensure certification can be awarded
Reviewing information provided by auditors (e.g., content of audit reports) and taking required action
Undertaking technical projects and research
Providing assistance to the Technical Manager and Operations Manager with day-to-day operations and contribute to meeting KPI targets
Identify trends and patterns to inform new ways of working
Liaising with applicant and registered firms, office staff, auditors, and other stakeholders
Complete associated administrative tasks and maintain accurate records within the SSAIB's management database
Ensure all works are completed in line with relevant Standards and Codes of Practice
Complete associated administrative tasks and maintain accurate records on the company's management database.
Assisting the Compliance Manager with issues relating to complaints
Supporting the marketing team (e.g. representing SSAIB at national exhibitions)
Maintain safe working practices and adhere to all Health & Safety policies
