Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Technical Administrator to join our team. This role serves as the key administrative support between engineers, customers, and internal departments. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure seamless operations and superior client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Administration and Technical Support:
Coordinate service requests, installations, and maintenance schedules.
Prepare and manage documentation including reports and compliance records.
Maintain and update customer records, job tracking systems, and equipment.
Customer Service:
Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
Provide timely and professional responses to maintain customer satisfaction.
Liaise with engineers and technicians to ensure clear communication of job details, timelines, and expectations.
Handle escalations effectively.
Team Coordination
Support field technicians by ensuring they have accurate schedules, job details, and required materials.
Collaborate with sales, service, and operations teams to streamline workflows.
Track job progress and provide updates to both clients and internal stakeholders.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years in an administrative role, preferably within the HVAC, construction, or technical service industry.
Basic understanding of HVAC systems, terminology, and service processes is a plus.
Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and resolve issues effectively.
Software Proficiency: Familiar with scheduling software, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organisational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
