Orthomotion works in the exciting industry of medical device supplies and the position is full time and based at our offices in Barnacre just outside of Garstang, PR3. Day to day activities will involve you receiving sales orders from hospitals and sales personnel via email or phone. The sales orders need to be processed in accordance with our standard operating procedures and controlled through our ERP computer stock control system. You will arrange the shipment of the medical goods and produce the appropriate paperwork for delivery in line with the customers' requirements. These must be delivered so planned surgical operations can take place.
It will also involve incoming inspection of purchased goods and returning loan sets following surgical operations, processing these items through the essential documentation system and ERP computer system, restocking loan sets ready for dispatch and processing the information for invoicing.
There will also be general administration requirements.
Skills:
Experienced administrator in a fast paced but detailed environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when dealing with each sales order and the documentation required
Experience in working with Office in particular Excel
Experience of working with a stock management ERP computer system is highly desirable, but full training will be provided.
The ability to work to defined processes is also essential and an understanding of Quality Systems would be an advantage.
The ability to prioritise and multitask to ensure all orders are successfully dispatched in line with customers' requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills - able to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally
Excellent communication skills - face to face and over the telephone
Works well under pressure
Retain a good product knowledge to assist the customers

Medical knowledge would also be an advantage
