About the role



We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven

Technical & Operational Support Assistant

to join our Operations Support Team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products are accepted, tested and released in line with defined specifications, legal requirements and customer expectations.

You'll be hands-on in the lab, supporting operations through qualitative and quantitative testing, ensuring compliance with SHEQ and food safety requirements, and providing wider operational and administrative support across the site.

Key responsibilities



Promote and follow all

Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

initiatives, policies and Golden Rules Maintain a safe, organised laboratory environment, completing daily start-up and shutdown processes Carry out

qualitative and quantitative testing

, including sampling for investigations, SHEQ and food safety purposes Coordinate with the Langley site to ensure samples requiring long-term storage are correctly packed, dispatched and transferred Provide operational support to ensure

packaging, marking, placarding and labelling

meet requirements at point of release Troubleshoot labelling issues and maintain sufficient stock levels Support office-based functions, including incoming and dispatch paperwork and shipment documentation Inspect road-sea-road shipments and complete

Container Packing Certificates

Carry out site inspections and audits as required, reporting in line with the integrated management system Accurately record data, observations and documentation, escalating issues promptly and supporting corrective actions
