architectural assurance

Although not a hands-on technical role, this position provides architectural guidance to subject matter experts (SMEs) and contributes to
technology governance
across multiple domains, ensuring sound and future-ready technology decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop
repeatable architecture patterns
and
infrastructure solution designs
emphasizing security, scalability, and operational excellence.
Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to align architecture with enterprise strategy and business objectives.
Provide
architectural assurance
for project deliveries and perform
quality reviews
of peer deliverables.
Conduct research into emerging technologies, products, and services; prepare
business cases
and present recommendations to the Architecture Design Authority.
Collaborate with Solution and Integration Architects to ensure cohesive and aligned IT solution architecture.
Participate in technology governance activities, ensuring decisions align with enterprise standards and long-term sustainability.
Provide advice and guidance during project implementation to ensure designs are executed as intended.
Required Experience & Capabilities
Broad experience across

Technical Skills & Competencies
Public Cloud Expertise:
Strong experience with large-scale cloud implementations (preferably
Microsoft Azure
).
Core Technologies:
Exposure to Windows, Linux, Web, Middleware, Database, Security Gateways, LAN/WAN Networking, and
MuleSoft API Management
.
Solution Design:
Experience designing secure, high-performing, and highly available technology solutions with traceable requirements.
Security & Risk:
Applied knowledge of security architecture and risk mitigation within large enterprise environments.
Methodologies:
Familiarity with both
Agile
and
Waterfall
delivery models; understanding of
CI/CD
principles is desirable.
Governance:
Experience working within
highly regulated industries
(e.g., Financial Services) and performing
contractual due diligence

Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels -- from C-suite executives to technical SMEs.
Qualifications
Degree or HND in Information Technology (or equivalent professional experience).
Relevant certifications such as
TOGAF
