Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and govern Model Office environments that accurately replicate production conditions for solution validation, integration testing, and operational readiness. This includes defining virtualised infrastructure architectures (compute, storage, network, and security) built on VMware vSphere and ESXi, establishing monitoring and alerting frameworks using SolarWinds, and ensuring secure management of test data.
The role also involves integrating security visibility through Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and enabling connectivity with SaaS-based cloud services to support hybrid application models.

Key Responsibilities1. Design Model Office Architecture

Define and document scalable virtualised environments on VMware vSphere/ESXi. Develop network topologies, identity and access frameworks, and hybrid SaaS integration models.

2. Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs

Create detailed HLD and LLD documentation aligned to business requirements and SDLC processes. Maintain design accuracy across all infrastructure components.

3. Implement Infrastructure Automation

Standardise environment builds and implement automation using PowerCLI, Ansible, and configuration management tools. Improve consistency and reduce manual effort across provisioning cycles.

4. Establish Monitoring and Alerting Frameworks

Configure SolarWinds for proactive performance and capacity monitoring. Implement alert thresholds, dashboards, and reporting aligned with operational needs.

5. Integrate SIEM for Security Visibility

Implement SIEM integration with Microsoft Sentinel. Configure log forwarding, create correlation rules, and support threat detection and compliance activities.

6. Manage Test Data Securely

Develop and automate Test Data Management (TDM) strategies including data masking, anonymisation, and synthetic data generation. Ensure adherence to data privacy and compliance standards.

7. Ensure Operational Readiness

Optimise resource utilisation and manage lifecycle and patching workflows. Validate system performance under production-like conditions.

8. Enable Hybrid Connectivity

Integrate SaaS-based cloud services to support hybrid connectivity. Ensure secure interoperability across Model Office environments.

9. Collaborate for Application Integration

Work with application teams to analyse interfaces, dependencies, and integration requirements. Ensure environment configurations support accurate end-to-end testing.

10. Drive Continuous Improvement

Enhance repeatability and reduce Time to Value (TTV) for environment refresh and rebuild cycles. Maintain consistency, reliability, and compliance across all environment tiers.

Pay: 70,000.00-75,000.00 per year
