TEAM The Network Team is responsible for the seamless delivery of all IT services across LAN and WAN including critical Commercial and Operational traffic. We form part of our Network and Infrastructure Competency Centre which are a tight-knit team of professionals, working closely with our colleagues in every other part of the business in a fast paced, competitive environment. Our architects also work cross functionally and collaboratively with all other architects in our architecture community. JOB PURPOSE Working in a dynamic environment the Technical Architect is responsible for the technical design of applications and platforms within the IT estate, specifically our vast network spread between all our office and operational sites; adhering to enterprise standards and best practice. The role works closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, business analysts, developers and delivery managers to own our network design and deliver IT Change that meets the needs of projects and programmes within easyJet’s enterprise portfolio. Accountable for preparing and maintaining technical architecture artefacts for IT WAN, LAN and Wifi network services and platforms including AS-IS, TO-BE and transitional states for these network capabilities.
