Technical Assistant (Temporary) - Glenfield

Grahams the Family Dairy currently have an excellent opportunity for a Temporary Technical Assistant to join our team at the Glenfield site in Cowdenbeath. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in a technical role within the food industry,

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will support the daily technical operations of the site and will play a key role in maintaining quality standards and supporting product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update the Quality Management System, including supplier approval documentation and internal audits.

Provide technical information to customers and internal teams to support specification completion.

Participate in and lead traceability exercises.

Support the launch of new products.

Active involvement in 3rd party audits.

Skills & Experience

While previous experience in a technical role within the food industry is desirable, full training will be provided. Key attributes include:

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A degree in Food Science, Food Manufacturing, or a related discipline (or equivalent).

Level 2 HACCP certification is beneficial.
