To be successful as a Technical Business Analyst, you should have:

Knowledge of data architecture, data infrastructure, or data products

- Ability to understand and work within data ecosystems, supporting the development, management, or optimisation of data-driven solutions.

Experience in a change management

- Involvement in delivering or supporting organisational change, with a focus on stakeholder engagement, implementation planning, and adoption.

Business analysis experience

- Skilled in gathering requirements, identifying process improvements, and translating business needs into clear documentation to support solution design and delivery.

Understanding or knowledge of investment banking

- Familiarity with the products, processes, or regulatory landscape of investment banking, enabling more informed contribution to relevant projects.

Self-starter

- Demonstrates independence, with the ability to take ownership of tasks, drive progress, and deliver outcomes without close supervision.

This role is based in Glasgow.

Purpose of the role

To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources.

Accountabilities

Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification. Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis. Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing. Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems. Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.
