About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Business Analyst to help drive the evolution of Expert, our AI-powered platform. What sets this role apart is its core focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to generate, optimise, and manage business requirements.


You will work with product leaders, engineers, and data teams to define what the Expert platform should do -- and use AI tools to accelerate and enhance the process of writing user stories, functional specifications, and technical requirements. This role blends strategic thinking, technical understanding, and next-generation tooling to deliver faster, smarter product development.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

AI-Enhanced Requirements Definition:

Use AI tools (e.g., GPT-based systems, requirements generators, natural language processing assistants) to draft, refine, and validate business requirements and user stories for the Expert platform.

Accelerated Documentation:

Leverage AI to automate the creation of key product artifacts such as business requirement documents (BRDs), acceptance criteria, use case diagrams, and wireframes -- significantly reducing manual effort while improving consistency and clarity.

Requirement Intelligence & Versioning:

Implement AI-assisted version control, traceability, and change impact analysis to ensure requirements are always current, contextually relevant, and easily navigable.

Collaborative AI Workflows:

Act as a power user of AI-enabled collaboration tools that help teams rapidly gather insights, brainstorm feature concepts, or turn stakeholder interviews into structured documentation.

Platform Insights & Feedback Loops:

Use AI to synthesise platform usage data, stakeholder feedback, and system logs into actionable next-step recommendations and backlog items

AI-Driven Validation & Testing Preparation:

Use generative AI to simulate test cases, validate requirements against edge scenarios, and ensure completeness prior to handoff to engineering.

Experience

:


3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a product development or technology environment. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience being part of agile teams.

Skills:

Critical Thinking Skills

: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex systems, interpret data, and propose solutions.

Technical Understanding

: Familiarity with software development processes (Agile/Scrum methodologies) and experience working closely with development teams. Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and product architecture is a plus.

AI Proficiency & Confidence:

Demonstrated confidence and hands-on experience in leveraging AI tools and technologies to accelerate analysis, automate documentation, and enhance decision-making.

Communication

: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.

Tools

: Proficiency in project management and data analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Tableau, Excel, and other product management software.

Attention to Detail

: Highly organized with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
