Summary

We are seeking a Buyer to join our dynamic team at McGeoch Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and services essential for our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage the procurement process for materials and components necessary for production. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material needs based on production schedules. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials. Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements where necessary. Utilize SAP ERP systems to track purchases and manage supply chain operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role within a manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier management. Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices. Experience using SAP ERP or similar procurement software is essential. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

Pay Rate

Negotiable depending on experience

Hours

Monday to Thursday 0730 - 1600

Friday 0730 - 1200
