We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical & Compliance Manager to oversee and enhance our compliance programmes. The ideal candidate will ensure that our operations adhere to legal standards and internal policies, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability. This role is pivotal in maintaining the organisation's reputation and ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met.
Duties
:
-Technical Management
Lead and manage technical teams, including quality control, R&D, or production support (depending on industry).
- Compliance & Regulatory Affairs
Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO, GMP, HACCP, GDPR, etc.).
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks, quality management systems (QMS), and audit programs.
Prepare for and manage internal and external audits, including those by regulatory authorities and certification bodies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Documentation & Reporting
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of processes, non-conformances, corrective actions, and compliance activities.
Lead or support risk assessments, investigations, and root cause analyses.
Create technical reports, compliance summaries, and quality review presentations for management.
- Training & Support
Develop and deliver training programs for staff on compliance, quality systems, and technical procedures.
Provide technical and compliance guidance to cross-functional teams (e.g., production, logistics, sales, etc.).
Oversee product development, process validation, and continuous improvement projects.
Implement technical solutions to improve efficiency, product quality, and regulatory compliance.
Serve as a subject matter expert in product standards and specifications.
Requirements
Proven experience in a compliance role or similar position, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey compliance concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Attention to detail is crucial, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Experience in quality assurance is highly desirable, as it complements the compliance framework within the organisation.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
