About You



Are you a highly skilled and proactive Infrastructure Engineer with a passion for problem-solving? We're looking for an experienced technical professional to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and evolving our infrastructure.

In this role, you'll provide

3rd line support

and tackle complex technical challenges. You'll need proven experience with

installation, migration, and configuration

of systems, as well as the ability to effectively

troubleshoot complex server, application, and compatibility issues

.

We're looking for someone who can clearly and concisely explain technical concepts to diverse audiences. You should also be highly organised, meticulous with documentation, and adept at managing multiple priorities and complex incidents through to successful resolution.

The Role



As a Technical Consultant at Heywood, you will be a critical point of contact for our customers, ensuring the successful deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of Heywood's applications on both on premise servers and private cloud servers, ensuring smooth integration and optimal performance.

What you'll do:



Provide 3rd line technical support to on premise and hosted customers, prioritising incidents Take full ownership of complex customer incidents and problems, managing them to resolution while keeping customers and stakeholders clearly informed Perform installations, migrations, and configurations of Heywood developed software on customer on-premises servers and private cloud environments, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams Offer valuable guidance and recommendations to customers on the infrastructure and hardware requirements needed for optimal Heywood software performance Create and maintain comprehensive internal documentation for all installation and migration processes Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server configurations, application installation, or software compatibility Stay up-to-date with Heywood product developments, industry trends, emerging technologies, to provide informed recommendations to customers Provide expert advice and guidance on best practices for Heywood software installation, configuration, and maintenance Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout installation and migration projects, offering dedicated technical support and assistance
