Join the API Revolution at Gravitee--Where Innovation Meets Growth

Since our beginnings in 2015, Gravitee has grown into a global force, recognized as a 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for API Management. What started with four developers challenging the complexities of APIs has evolved into a revolutionary platform powering API and event stream ecosystems worldwide. We're driving digital transformation for top enterprises, from Michelin to Roche to Blue Yonder and beyond, offering unmatched control over APIs and event streams.

Our rapid growth and leadership in API management are fueled by our team's commitment to excellence and our core values:

Passion

: We bring excitement to everything we do, constantly innovating to stay ahead of the curve.

Hold Nothing Back

: We go above and beyond to help customers and teammates succeed, holding ourselves to the highest standards.

Professionalism

: We believe in clear, respectful communication and prioritize the needs of our team and customers.

Join us on this journey. Be part of a team that's redefining what's possible in API management, and shaping the future of digital transformation. The possibilities are endless--be a part of the revolution!

THE ROLE & WHY IT EXISTS

We're Gravitee.io and we're redefining how companies manage APIs, Event Streams, and the wild new frontier of Agentic AI. And now, we need someone who can tell those stories -- from "What the heck is an API Gateway?" to "Here's how autonomous agents gossip using A2A."

We are currently recruiting for a

Technical Content Writer

(a.k.a Developer Whisperer, Failed Coder Turned Wordsmith, or "The One Who Can Actually Explain Things")

Hey you, yes you, the developer who accidentally wrote a blog post once and discovered you liked it more than debugging. Or maybe the one who always ended up being the explainer in the standup. You've got a way with words and a love of tech? We've got a pen with your name on it. (Metaphorically. It's probably a keyboard.)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Your daily to-do list will feature some or all of the following, but is not limited to:

Learn fast, write faster.

You'll work with product managers, engineers, and sometimes our CEO (he's cool) to grok complex topics and become a mini-SME in your own right.

Write with the urgency of a prod server on fire.

Blogs, docs, tutorials, thought leadership, memes (optional, but bonus points). All for a deeply technical audience that can smell BS from 1,000 lines away.

Go deep.

You'll get smart on everything from Kafka to Agent Mesh to why federation matters when managing APIs across distributed gateways. Then you'll translate that knowledge into clear, compelling, sometimes-even-fun content.

Be the voice.

You'll help shape how we talk to the developer community -- authentic, smart, a little weird, never dry.

SEO, but not cringe.

You'll understand what keywords matter and how to use them without making your writing sound like it was assembled by a committee of robots.

Learn fast, write faster.

You'll work with product managers, engineers, and sometimes our CEO (he's cool) to grok complex topics and become a mini-SME in your own right.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

The right candidate will possess at least the following skills, if not more:

You're excited to

go from zero to semi-expert

on a topic, and then teach the rest of the world what you learned. You have a

technical background

-- maybe you studied CS, maybe you were a developer, maybe you just enjoy source-diving open source projects for fun (you animal). You're a

killer writer

. Funny, clear, approachable, and willing to throw out that perfect sentence if it doesn't serve the reader. You're

obsessed with explaining things

. You find joy in the "aha" moment. You know

enough about SEO

to be dangerous -- and enough to not over-optimize to the point of unreadability.

BONUS POINTS

Nice to have, but not essential

:

You've written developer docs, blog posts, or tutorials before -- even if it was just for your own blog, GitHub repo, or StackOverflow answers. You have strong opinions about SEO. You know what things like Kafka streaming, API management, agent-to-agent communication and MCP means and didn't just Google it after reading this job post.
