We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Technical Coordinator to join our well established, professional and friendly team, this role will assist the Planning & Design Manager in managing and co-ordinating project technical information in a timely manner to ensure that all project deliverables are achieved supporting whilst supporting the senior team and the site and contract managers in delivering the build programmes.

About the role




Reporting into the Planning & Design Manager to;

Ensure that all Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to. Ensure the plot packs are kept up to date with the latest standards. Keep up to date all drawing registers, internal and external consultants Check drawings issued from external consultants, suppliers , sub-contractors are fully complaint and coordinate with our designs. Review and scrutinise design drawings, specifications and details for compliance, buildability. Assist in managing the development process from the outset until completion Assist and liaise with the planning authorities to ensure all parties interests are being fulfilled, monitor planning conditions until fully discharged at the earliest opportunity. Incorporate sustainable and eco-friendly practices into designs and construction Liaise with Highways monitor progress of section 278/38 and any other agreements Liaise with EWG legal team to monitor progress with all legal agreements. Liaise with the site staff and commercial team and deal with any technical queries raised and issue detail requirements. Provide site support and manage responses to technical requests for information Attend monthly site meetings and if requested sub-contractor progress meetings to agree and discuss any design requirements. Support commercial team with procurement information to facilitate sub-contract tendering packages. Identify and manage any third-party involvement. Produce any necessary reports for internal and external functions. Resolve and close out all complex issues quickly and effective. Resolve design and building problems, contacting relevant personnel and consultants as appropriate Assist, compile and gather all relevant information for part L and CML compliance. Prepare and check brochure plans. Advocate the Group Health, Safety and Environment Policy while ensuring compliance throughout the team to ensure health safety and wellbeing standards are met. Work collaboratively with other departments across the Group to ensure achievement of company targets. Attend all internal project & team meetings

About you




You will be an established Technical Coordinator and have the experience required of such a role with a MRICS accreditation NVQ of BSc you will have a demonstrable experience of construction design and build as well as good knowledge of market rates, proces and technical knowledge of NHBC standards.


It would also be great if you the ability to influence and motive others and self, whilst also making good decision making and problem solving skills
