As a Technical Coordinator, you will be a confident and effective communicator, responsible for providing proactive and efficient support to the Project Director and the wider Development team, meeting business demands. With the support of the Project Director the Technical Coordinator, will be responsible for briefing, managing, and driving external consultants, obtaining building control approval, discharging planning conditions and producing construction drawings to enable efficient site starts.

Key Responsibilities:



Reporting daily to the Project Director, you will assist with the management of the site from design stage right through to post completion, in line with the delivery programme. This will include:

Providing transitional support across all RIBA Stages inclusive from design, construction, mobilisation and beyond.

Liaising with relevant statutory and local authorities and other internal/external stakeholders as required.

Liaising with engineers, landscape designers, and sustainability consultants, coordinating information to ensure consistency across all design elements, and that buildability is considered throughout.

Produce, maintain and update cost trackers to assist the development team as necessary

Ensure the accurate issue and recording of documentation and drawings throughout

Attending monthly site progress meetings and brief all departments on matters relating to design and regulations

Liaise with Sales and Conveyancing Teams to provide and coordinate relevant documentation, as required for the production of the legal packs

Desired Skills & Qualifications:



Minimum of five years' experience in a technical role within the housebuilding sector is desirable but not essential. Experience in Apartment schemes would be beneficial. IT literate with experience of using AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel, Word & Zutec. Strong understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC Standards, Party Wall Awards, and associated construction industry legislation. Good design skills with the ability to interpret drawings and technical demands of others. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Sound commercial acumen, articulate and calm under pressure. Strong people skills, able to work as part of a team or in isolation and manage external working relationships. Organised and self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of projects. The ability to embrace and role model our company values - Trust, Teamwork, Kindness, Passion and Performance. Full UK driving licence required.
