We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a technical customer service position, ideally suited for candidates with a background in manufacturing or engineering.
This role is particularly appealing to those who have hands on experience in a factory setting and are looking to transition away from direct production work or those who have worked in a similar position. Knowledge of plastics would be advantageous but not essential as training regarding materials and our manufacturing processes can be provided.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in interpreting customer specifications and transforming their ideas into viable products that align with the company's capabilities. Additionally, the position encompasses various office responsibilities, including the processing of customer orders and ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to delivery.
In this role, you will engage with customers through multiple channels, including email, phone, and in-person interactions. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential as you provide quotes for custom products, utilising your understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and technical drawings. This aspect of the job requires not only technical knowledge but also a keen sense of customer service, as you will be the point of contact for clients seeking tailored solutions to their needs.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for processing orders efficiently and offering technical advice regarding our services. Your expertise will help guide customers through their options, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions for their projects.
This position offers a unique opportunity to utilise your technical background while engaging directly with customers, making it an ideal fit for those looking to apply their skills in a more client-focused environment.
