Position Overview:
As the Unified Communications (UC) Technical Delivery Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex UC solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Teams Voice, SIP, and Direct Routing. You will manage a high-performing technical team, ensure alignment with business goals, and drive continuous improvement across service delivery. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic leadership, and exceptional stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities:
Manage and mentor a team of UC engineers, fostering a high-performance culture, accountability and continuous development.
Oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of Microsoft Teams Voice and SIP-based solutions, including Direct Routing, SBC configuration, and the seamless integration with third-party platforms (e.g. Anywhere365, AudioCodes, Ribbon).
Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Service Management to align delivery with customer and commercial goals.
Drive service improvement initiatives to enhance CSAT and operational efficiency
Own the technical delivery roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and emerging technologies.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, ISO standards, and security frameworks
Represent the Technical Delivery function in senior leadership forums and cross-functional initiatives.
Define team objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support career development.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
Maintain accurate documentation, asset registers, and change control processes.
Main and develop existing Power Platform apps to drive team efficiencies and team reporting aligned with technical delivery KPI's.
Lead the technical onboarding process for new channel partners, working closely with clients to ensure a seamless and efficient integration experience.
Establish and nurture strong, solution-focused relationships with senior stakeholders within our channel partner network, fostering long-term collaboration and mutual success.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in a senior technical delivery or UC leadership role, ideally within a managed services or telecoms environment.
Deep technical knowledge of:
Microsoft Teams Voice and Direct Routing* SIP, SBCs (AudioCodes, Ribbon, Oracle)* Office 365, Azure AD, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, PowerApps)* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Support, and Product.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
Experience managing a high-performance team and setting objectives aligned with group strategy, team KPI's and development metrics.
Knowledge of US/ EMEA compliance regulations, including the US FCC (Federal Communication Commission) is desirable.

The budgeted salary for this role is between 70,000 - 85,000 per year, depending on experience.
Hybrid working:
