Key Responsibilities:
Support the setup and operation of laboratory practicals for students across a range of applied science subjects.
Demonstrate and guide students in the safe and effective use of laboratory equipment, with a particular focus on
GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry)
and
HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography)
systems.
Assist academic staff during practical classes, providing technical insights and support.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
Contribute to the development of new practical resources and activities.
