Primary Responsibilities (Core Deliverables)

Oversee technical planning and coordination of creative projects from concept to completion. Translate creative and design intent into technical deliverables and fabrication drawings. Manage Rhino-based 3D models, CAD layouts, and production drawings. Coordinate between designers, engineers, fabricators, and project managers to ensure alignment. Ensure manufacturing feasibility, material selection, and engineering accuracy. Review technical documentation and approve prototypes, mock-ups, and fabrication details. Monitor production schedules, resources, and budgets to maintain efficiency and deadlines. Conduct technical risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Support on-site installation, testing, and commissioning phases when required. Maintain documentation and version control across Rhino, CAD, and production files.

Required Skills & Expertise

Proficiency in Rhino (Essential). Understanding of CAD standards, 3D modelling, and technical drafting. Familiarity with fabrication processes, materials, and mechanical systems. Strong technical problem-solving and analytical thinking. Knowledge of manufacturing techniques -- CNC, joinery, metalwork, scenic builds, etc. Proven experience in production pipelines, design intent translation, and technical documentation. Excellent communication and coordination across creative and technical teams. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, feasibility, and design integrity.

Preferred / Desirable Skills

Experience in theme parks, museums, live events, or experiential environments. Familiarity with software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, 3ds Max, or Blender. Knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Trello, Jira, or similar). Experience working with fabrication workshops or production vendors. Understanding of mechanical design principles or show control systems. Awareness of health & safety and technical compliance standards.
