About the role



You will be joining the design engineering/product development team, helping to make our brilliant concepts become a reality. No two days will be the same, from designing and developing new products to producing technical drawing packs, you will cover it all!

You must have a genuine passion for creating incredible outdoor spaces and be committed to making a difference to children's lives, through outdoor play spaces through the designs, concepts and technical drawings that you deliver.

You must be passionate about using your creativity and design skills to develop incredible outdoor spaces

The duties will include (but are not limited to):



Developing new product concepts through extensive research and testing Optimising existing products and bespoke designs to increase manufacturing efficiency Creating technical (manufacturing) drawings for the workshop team Preparing quotations for maintenance and remedial works Producing accurate setting out/layout drawings for site teams Liaise with sales and design teams, offering technical advice

Experience required



Design or engineering related degree Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills A thorough approach and attention to detail Proficiency in 3D design software (Vectorworks/AutoCAD preferred) Commercial awareness and time-management skills Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently Positive working attitude Desire and willingness to learn and continually develop Understanding of joinery production and workshop tooling (not essential but advantageous)
