We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on technical leader to take ownership of advanced infrastructure, cloud, and networking operations, customer onboarding, and complex technical escalations.
You'll handle everything from pre-sales and solution design to last-line troubleshooting and service reviews. You will be the final point of escalation in the business, trusted to solve any technical challenge and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
This is a customer-facing role, ideal for someone who can design, deliver, and maintain cutting-edge environments while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Pre-Sales
Engage with customers to scope and design infrastructure and cloud solutions.
Produce accurate quotations and proposals for hosted desktops, migrations, and managed services.
Present technical solutions in customer-facing pre-sales meetings.
Advanced Technical Support & Escalation
Act as the final line of support for complex technical issues.
Deliver deep troubleshooting across networking, server, storage, and cloud environments.
Customer Onboarding & Migration
Lead onboarding of new Microsoft RDS customers, including domain integration and session host configuration.
Perform Microsoft 365 migrations (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) to best practice.
Oversee hosted desktop and infrastructure transitions, ensuring minimal business impact.
Networking & Infrastructure
Manage Cisco ASR & Nexus environments at CCNP level (VRFs, BGP, routing policies, and multi-tenant designs).
Own HPE ProLiant & Synergy server platforms and HPE 3PAR storage arrays.
Support hybrid Windows and Linux environments (RHEL desirable).
Datacentre Operations
Work in data centres for hardware deployment, racking, cabling, and troubleshooting.
Follow access, safety, and change control processes.
Emerging Technology
Support GPU-accelerated hosted desktops and AI/ML workloads (NVIDIA vGPU and virtualisation experience advantageous).
Customer Service Reviews & Documentation
Conduct regular service reviews with customers, presenting improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Produce clear documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfers for scalable delivery.
Skills & Experience
Cisco networking to CCNP level (ASR, Nexus, VRF, BGP, routing design).
Microsoft RDS Clusters - design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Microsoft 365 migrations & support (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
HPE ProLiant & Synergy servers, HPE 3PAR storage systems.
RHEL experience (desirable) and Windows/Linux hybrid skills.
Data centre operations experience (hardware deployment, cabling, access processes).
Ability to handle complex technical challenges independently and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Customer-facing skills, including service reviews and technical presentations.
Pre-sales and solution design experience, including producing technical quotations.
Strong documentation discipline and ability to mentor others.
Desirable
GPU virtualisation experience (NVIDIA vGPU, hosted desktops, or AI/ML environments).
Familiarity with Kubernetes or container platforms (reflecting emerging business direction).
Automation/scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
Awareness of cloud security and compliance best practices.

Package
Salary: 75,000 - 90,000 depending on experience.
Full BUPA health cover after 3 months.
