The Person


As a Technical Director - Third Party Property Damage, you will be at the heart of leading the technical delivery and development of the specialist TPPD proposition and be an integral part of the overall business growth plan. This is a senior technical role, with excellent career development opportunities.


Responsibilities


The responsibilities of the

Technical Director - Third Party Property Damage

include (though are not limited to):

Effectively lead the technical delivery and development of the TPPD. Manage own caseload of complex/high value claims, delivering agreed level of revenue. Maintain and improve the technical capability of the team and to provide clear development routes for the wider adjusting team. Maintain, develop and apply a personal level of knowledge and technical expertise to enhance the credibility of the business line and to maintain and develop a market leading reputation for technical delivery. To oversee/help develop and mentor new and junior staff and contribute to the company succession plan. Play an active role in the selection of new staff to support business development. To assist in the generation of new business for Woodgate & Clark through networking, delivery of training and relationship building in the Insurer, MGA and Broker market. Maintain & develop strong and sustainable relationships with existing and new clients, and a good understanding of client's needs. Actively seek to develop oneself and take responsibility for your own training and development. Able to demonstrate knowledge and/or awareness of regulatory procedures. Advocate and play an integral role in delivering the wider business strategic plan delivering on people and commercial goals. You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required and notified to you by the Company.

Skills and Experience (E: essential, D: desirable)

Demonstrable experience of managing liability, specifically TPPD claims in a loss adjusting business (E) Recognised profile in the liability market with Insurer and Broker clients. (E) Extensive technical knowledge and experience. (E) Experience of delivering presentations both internally and externally (D)

Education and Qualifications (E: essential, D: desirable)

FCILA/ACILA qualified (D) * FCII/ACII (D)
