A 12-month opportunity has arisen within the SRS for someone to join our Applications Management and Development team. In this role you will be expected to help us enable Gwent Police to process their business needs successfully by delivering support, maintenance, advice and development.

Each day will be different as you investigate issues, apply fixes, implement software upgrades, liaise with clients and 3rd party suppliers, and continually re-evaluating efficiencies and effectiveness of ICT environments to ensure Gwent Police receive the best solution for their business needs.

As well as working with an amazing group of people, we also offer flexible working hours and agile working arrangements. We also provide monetary assistance if you wish to attain further professional accreditation within IT.

The successful candidate must have two years hands-on technical experience.
