Front-facing and leading a progressive County's Active Travel initiatives...
I'm working closely with a progressive County Council situated in the South East of England in support of a Transport (Technical) Lead across for the Active Travel team, a part of the wider Strategic and Sustainable Transport arm.
This strategic and policy-focused led role; will require input, delivery and leadership in refreshing Walking, Cycling (mainly) initiatives and strategies across their Local Transport Plan. And direction on their Active Travel Programme.
As a successful applicant, you'll be responsible for:
- Coordinating project delivery, including schemes funded by ATE and Revenue budgets.
- Engage with stakeholders across the Transport planning teams, public health, and external data-driven partners, Local Cycling groups, and monthly Active Travel Roundtables.
- Analyse and report data, supporting LTP KPI monitoring and contributing to the LTP refresh.
- Provide oversight to less senior officers.
Arrangement:
- 60-65 per hour (Inside IR35)
- 1x Weekly in the Offices
- 6 Month initial Contract
