We're looking for an experienced Technical Lead to own and drive our Android and iOS strategy. Our apps already see tens of thousands of sessions every day and hundreds of thousands of checkouts each month--your leadership will keep that growth on track. We're modernising our entire mobile stack, exploring Kotlin Multiplatform, and lining up major product releases. As a Technical Leader, you will own our technical strategy across the mobile app squad and drive technical excellence, guiding the teams to deliver great apps and customer experiences.

What you'll be responsible for?

Own the mobile architecture - shape clear patterns for Android and iOS, oversee build and release processes, and align both platforms under a shared technical vision. Raise engineering standards - run concise design/code reviews, establish guardrails, and sign off on high-impact decisions. Drive performance and quality - lead deep-dive spikes, refactors, and proof-of-concepts that improve speed, stability, and user experience. Develop other engineers - mentor, coach, and create growth paths that lift capability across the squads. Streamline delivery - champion shared libraries, design-system components, and efficient CI/CD so teams ship high-quality features faster. Collaborate widely - work with Product, Design, Security, and Data to balance requirements whilst still maintaining excellence

What skills and experience will you have?

Expert-level skill in at least one mobile platform (Android or iOS). Strong knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) concepts and trade-offs. A proven history of making technical solutions that produced measurable outcomes. Clear communication--able to explain complex trade-offs to stakeholders at any level. Hands-off on routine delivery, hands-on for the highest-value technical work. Hands-on delivery experience with both Android and iOS. Strong knowledge of GraphQL, Node.js/TypeScript back ends, and automated pipelines.
