PURPOSE OF POST

Eclipse Global is an industry leader in live event production, where we craft unforgettable experiences for clients through our cutting-edge audio-visual and scenic solutions. Our dedicated team of professionals brings exceptional events to life in all scales and formats. Currently, we're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Manager to join our team to support the business in technical preparation and delivery, including live, digital and hybrid projects.

The Technical Manager will work alongside project teams to achieve the best possible technical outcomes for the business, ensuring plans and specifications can be realised on schedule and within budget. They will be regarded as a valuable and trusted source of technical information, and looked to as a subject matter expert across disciplines.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Discuss and advise on technical requirements, within project teams, sales teams and directly with clients. Produce technical documentation, including but not limited to, specifications, schematics, health and safety documents and floor plans. Project prep and delivery. Provide consultation to the wider team on technical best practice. Manage pre-production within a project team, including scenic as appropriate. Produce accurate quotations as appropriate. Develop strong relationships with clients and discuss event requirements directly. Assist and advise in maintaining cost control and event specific margin targets. Liaise cross departmentally, to ensure the highest level of service is received and all projects are carried out in accordance with client specific requirements.

Additional Duties

Involvement in CAPEX consultation as required. Assist in identifying areas of improvement across the business. Champion Eclipse's technical policies and procedures. Facilitate technical innovation and best practice in technical design.
