Job Description

Highland Spring Group is looking for a dedicated Technical Manager to join our Technical team to drive our commitment to quality and innovation in the bottled water industry. As a Technical Manager, you will develop, manage and implement quality and food safety systems at our Ochils bottling site in Blackford, Perthshire, in compliance with our customer and 3rd party audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



+ As a people manager, you will lead the team, allocate projects and tasks, training, performance and resource management + Management of Quality and Technical systems within our Ochils bottling site to ensure we continue to produce safe and legally compliant products
+ Being the key point of contact between Technical and Operational teams
+ Working with the wider Group Technical teams to develop and implement group systems (HACCP, TACCP)
+ Ensure compliance to the group supplier audit schedule
+ Manage of KPI and data trending systems and produce and coordinate all reports
+ Manage all consumer complaints
+ Responsible for external and internal audits and completion of actions

Requirements




You will have significant experience as a people Manager in a technical / quality role within the Food Industry. You will have a relevant degree and auditor qualifications.


Detailed understanding and proven capability in the areas of HACCP, TACCP, BRC, Good Manufacturing Practice, Customer Codes of Practice (e.g. Tesco TFMS, M&S COP) is essential.
