AirBench Ltd are seeking a talented Technical Manager to join our small team.

This is a new role in our growing company.

The role will involve end-to-end responsibility for technical aspects of our business. You will become familiar with our range, our systems, and dust extraction controls and products. Using this knowledge, you will work with our customers and our sales team to specify products; work with our design team to specify and grow our product range; and develop the internal systems and documentation required across the business.

Key responsibilities will include

- becoming the internal subject matter expert on technical aspects of our product range.

- researching and understanding applicable technologies in the dust extraction industry.

- understanding appropriate British Standards and applying these to the design process.

- developing detailed design specifications for products and projects.

- take ownership of pricing for our products.

- identifying third party solutions and suppliers where necessary, to create a complete product offering.

- ensuring sales, technical, and build documentation, and internal systems, are correct.

- providing input to marketing and launch of product where required.

The ideal candidate will:

- be degree qualified (or equivalent) in an engineering subject

- be able to draw on external resources and identify suppliers where required.

- be able to show experience in a related field - HVAC, fan systems, industrial filtration, or a comparable industry.

- be a confident user of IT systems including MS Excel.

- be experienced with Inventor or Solidworks

We are a leading manufacturer of dust and fume extraction equipment, based in Colchester near the Hythe. We work with customers across the UK and Europe, including almost all leading manufacturers..
