Technical Manager - High Street Retailer

A market leading High Street Retailer renowned for its menswear, womenswear and childrenswear collections has a rare and unique opportunity for a Technical Manager with strong people management and multiple product experience to head up their established technical team.

As Technical Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the technical team ensuring the best quality of garment is produced, create and implement an ethical compliance business strategy that delivers exceptional standards. You will be responsible for legal and safety requirements of all products, test reporting, supplier and factory management, attending sourcing, development and compliance meetings in the UK and internationally, quality control and sourcing all products such as fabrics, trims, wash, yarns etc. As a valued member of the senior management team, you will report directly to the company\'s Director and work very closely with all internal teams.

The ideal applicant must have previous technical management experience ideally working for a premium, high street or lifestyle brand demonstrating outstanding department management, ethical compliance, sourcing, supplier management and garment construction skills. You must have previous people management experience with the ability to oversee and lead an established technical team with exceptional knowledge and hands-on experience working closely with Far East factories. Possessing excellent communication, presentation and I.T skills.
