You'll play a key role in ensuring our developments are not only beautifully designed but also commercially viable, technically sound, and delivered to the highest standard.

What you'll do

As part of our leadership team, you'll:


Lead and inspire the technical department, motivating your team to deliver best-in-class performance. Provide practical, cost-effective technical solutions across the region, liaising with internal teams and external consultants. Support land acquisition by assessing site viability at the earliest stage. Drive planning success by ensuring technical advice is built into applications and conditions are discharged promptly. Oversee statutory approvals (S104, S38 etc.), ensuring developments progress smoothly. Manage technical budgets, monitor programmes, and keep projects on track. Ensure legal and sales information is accurate, timely, and compliant. Represent the technical function at senior leadership meetings, influencing business decisions and championing best practice.

What you'll bring

Proven experience in a technical management role within housebuilding or residential development. Strong knowledge of planning, design, and statutory approval processes. Commercial awareness, with experience in budget management and cost control. Excellent leadership skills - able to develop and motivate a team. First-class communication and negotiation skills. A solutions-driven mindset, with the ability to balance practicality and cost-effectiveness.
