We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality-focused

Technical Manager

to join our Technical team in Wigan on a full time, permanent basis. As our

Technical Manager

you will ensure that all household appliances, we bring to market are safe, fit for purpose and are of excellent Quality, meeting both internal & external customer requirements.

As our Technical Manager your role will be to;



Implementation of the product development launch pipeline, following the Technical processes required, for right-first-time and on-time product delivery. Advise on product quality improvements & cost saving suggestions and following these through to implementation with OEM manufacturers. Meet all legal compliance standards required and constantly meet customer expectations in relation to the quality of product. Monitor and advise on product performance in the market by reviewing/assessing product returns and customer feedback. To produce reports on performance and advise on product improvements. Investigation and satisfactory resolution of customer complaints, in a timely fashion. Monitoring & reporting on supplier performance against a set of defined criteria, to aid supplier selection and ongoing performance measurement

Our ideal Technical Manager will have the following skills / experience;



3 years post qualification experience in either a manufacturing, product test or laboratory background of household appliances. Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering or Quality/Technical discipline Must have an electrical engineering qualification
