Technical Operator - Dairy

Based: Long Clawson (LE14 4PJ)

Salary: 13.10 per hour (23,842.00 per annum) + Great Benefits

Hours: 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 06:30 to 14:30

We are now seeking a number of Technical Operators, to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.

What you'll do

As part of a small team, working intensively during the make up of curd on each production day, carrying out roles which will include hoop filling and pallet stacking, also other general duties associated with the Dairy and the manufacture of our cheese.

What are we looking for?

Essential

Industrious and able to work under pressure. Good level of fitness - able to lift weights of up to 20kg and push/pull weights of up to 1000kg, in accordance with manual handling training. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (to be achieved within 6 months). Adaptable/flexible to meet requirements and demands of production and seasonal fluctuations. Quality focused.

Desirable

Food/process manufacturing background. Good standard of spoken and written English.
