Overview of the role

The individual will work in a team supporting Ilika's production of Goliath solid-state batteries.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Making of coin cells;

Performing quality control measurements on incoming materials using analytical instrumentation;

Booking and receipt of raw materials into the system

Execution of production work plan on schedule;

Ensuring production targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and quality standards are met;

Effectively communicate with team and other stakeholders;

Ensure adherence to Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions in day-to- day activities relating to printing, processing and evaluation of solid state batteries and prototypes;

Awareness of good laboratory and health and safety practice;

Cultural requirements:

Recognise the importance of and create an inspirational can-do culture in the organisation, with a focus on process improvement, adding value to the business;

Taking the initiative in proposing and implementing solutions for areas for improvement in the Company's operations;

Job requirements:

Knowledge and understanding of all key production processes and metrology;

Enthusiastic learner with IT and mechanical skills;

Min A-level or equivalent;

Effective written and oral communication;

Ability to follow well defined operating procedures in compliance with ISO standards to achieve high quality in a complex manufacturing environment;

Good time management skills;

Demonstrated ability to work well in a team as a member;

Conscientious and have a good eye for detail
