Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Technical Operator to assist in the smooth and efficient running of new hi-tech machinery.

This position, which is based in our Glenrothes facility at Southfield Industrial Estate is permanent, subject to completion of a satisfactory 3-month probation period.

Applicants must have previous experience within a production environment and hands on experience working with production machinery. Have an eye for fine detail, good dexterity, be able to work unsupervised and to deadlines.

Operation of die sorter & other automatic equipment. Use of peel strength tester, V-Tek inspection, vacuum machine, bar code machine and any other relevant equipment. Maintain Reel Service Quality, ESD, Health & Safety Standards at all times. Daily machine/workbench maintenance ensuring your work area is tidy at all times. Accurately record information on all relevant paperwork & entry into ERP system Advise any ideas on improvement to processes/procedures. Perform minor adjustments on automatic equipment Basic computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office (or similar), ERP Systems. Excellent time keeping and attendance. Flexibility, team work, good communication.

Dayshift Hours - Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2pm 40 hours per week Training will be provided by our Engineering Department Pension provided by AEGON Employee Assistance Programme available Paid monthly
