Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Projects Manager this role will provide project team with quality assurance, inspection and vessel survey support. Input to project packs, documentation and completion approval of sub-contractor works. Tasks shall include, supporting project team by carrying out site survey's, inspection/approval of sub-contractor works, gathering data, reporting, producing and maintaining inspection/approval documentation.
Principal accountabilities
Management of department processes should be in line with company expectations and ensuring consultation is completed with relevant process reviewers when adding, amending, deleting, and reviewing owned processes.
Project Quality Responsibilities
Support the team in the delivery of projects.
Contribute to successful completion of projects.
Maintain the project inspection/quality/approval/punch list documentation ensuring all relevant information is captured, accurate and up to date.
Attend vessel/site visits for inspection or quality checks of project contractor works.
Attend FAT/HAT/SATs to ensure project completion is achieved and signed off. Compile and manage punch lists as required.
Work co-operatively with the project team.
Participate in project reviews, lessons learned discussions and stakeholder reviews.
Provide/produce status data for current projects.
Support the projects team and ensure information is accurate, relevant and up to date.
General Tasking
To support Continual Improvement processes and improve the processes and procedures for project management, ensuring lessons are identified and learned post every event and shared and aligned with wider stakeholders.

Able to think on their feet and remain calm under pressure.
Any other duties as required by Senior Projects Manager.
Qualifications, skills, and experience
Essential
Be qualified to ONC/HNC level in an associated discipline, extensive relevant experience would be deemed equivalent.
Experience as a quality engineer, or similar role, carrying out acceptance inspections and testing.
Knowledge of marine standards i.e., Lloyds Register rules or similar.
Knowledgeable in mechanical/electrical/outfitting aspects of vessels/offshore facilities.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, documents and associated diagrams.
Proven experience in all aspects of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to deal with staff and build relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
Proven verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collate and report effective quality and inspection information.
Desirable
Proven experience in all aspects of Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in commercial ship operations and management, sea going Marine (Deck) or Engineering background advantageous.
