An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Representative/Appointed Person to join our company.

The Company

Roadcraft (Crane & Plant Hire) Ltd, have been providing specialist lifting services throughout the North West and Cheshire since 1920.
We offer an unrivalled service in the provision of CPA Crane Hire and Contract Lifts, together with the supply of Appointed Persons, Lift Supervisors and Slinger/Banksmen in various areas of Shipbuilding, Petrochemical, Utilities, Engineering, Construction or Green Energy.

The Role

Our Technical Representative is a key role within the company, responsible for the planning and executing of safe and efficient lifting operations for our valued clients.

Responsibilities

Site visits and communications with clients

Preparation of quotes via email

Production of RAMS using CAD software

Ensure good working practices and maintain a safe, efficient and hazard-free working environment

Collaborating with our Operations Director to schedule works

Liaising with our Operators and Appointed Persons to ensure the smooth running of works.

Requirements

CPCS (Appointed Person) qualification

Full UK drivers licence

Strong technical experience working with mobile cranes

Willing to cover out of hours/weekend work where necessary

Experience of producing RAMS (CAD training an advantage but training will be provided)

The ideal candidate

A strong technical background

Ability to work autonomously

Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload

Excellent communication skills
