About the role:
The 'Technical Sales Assistant' role is responsible for proposal generation, booking in meetings, processing orders, following up with customers and small project procurement. You'll be working closely with the Account Management team, assisting them to best support our existing customers.
The suitable candidate will take an interest and passion into the world of technology.
You'll need great communication skills, as you will be speaking with clients on the phone and additionally via email, when sending and following up proposals.
Responsibilities and expectations of the role:
One of the main responsibilities of the role is being accountable for your own performance. We strive to deliver an excellent customer experience - every time! Here is the list of skills (but not limited to) you'll need to make this role a success:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as you'll be documenting your work within our PSA (Professional Services Automation), preparing and creating detailed quotations and liaising with our clients.
Ability to manage multiple proposals at various stages in the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and progress tracking.
High level of attention to detail when creating cost estimates, service details and terms in proposals.
Analytical thinking to assess client requirements and structure proposals that highlight the value of BCS's services.
Building and nurturing relationships with clients through consistent communication and excellent customer service.
Provide regular updates in the weekly sales meeting to proposals statuses, sales pipeline activity and potential blockers.
Phone handling, taking incoming calls and raising the necessary tickets required.

Terms and timings:
This is a Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700 role.
