Hutchinson Stop-choc is a leading manufacturer of Anti-vibration and Shock Isolation Solutions, Avionics Racking and Illuminated Control Panels & Display Systems for the Aerospace, Defence and Industrial markets, both UK and across the globe.

We are currently looking for a technical sales engineer to join our dedicated and fast growing sales team with responsibility for our products and business development in the Aerospace and Defence markets.

The sales engineer will be responsible for preparing quotations, selling existing products, attending site visits, developing strong client relationship and generating new business opportunities in the Aerospace and defence markets.

Establish and understand client requirements and specifications through technical/commercial meetings. Prepare quotations and assist with product selection according to specifications Negotiate commercial contracts. Provide technical expertise and support tailored to client needs Build and sustain good working relationships with existing and new clients. Identify and develop new business opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, production and suppliers to meet customer requirements. Prepare technical proposals and present these to clients. Complete monthly sales reports.

Requirements, skills and experience

Engineering knowledge, specific knowledge in technical business development would be an advantage. Experience of managing key clients relationships and generating new enquiries Be driven, comfortable with meeting new people and developing relationships within a commercial environment. Excellent communication and organisation skills Hold a full UK driving licence
