We are a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke cable assemblies, harnesses, looms, and network solutions, serving Aerospace, Defence, Telecoms, Rail, and Satellite industries. Renowned for our technical expertise, precision, and customer-first approach, we're now looking for a talented Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The Role
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of client needs and production capabilities, helping to deliver high-quality, bespoke solutions for mission-critical industries. You will:
Engage directly with clients to understand technical requirements and create tailored cable assembly and harness solutions
Prepare accurate quotations and technical proposals
Work closely with production teams to ensure bespoke cable assemblies are manufactured in line with customer requirements and drawings
Support production by providing technical guidance to solve challenges and maintain quality standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering ongoing technical support
Identify opportunities to improve processes, products, and customer satisfaction
Gain exposure to exciting sectors, from Aerospace and Defence to Telecoms and Satellite systems
What We're Looking For
We're searching for a practical, problem-solving professional who combines technical knowledge with strong customer focus. You should have:
Time-served experience or hands-on knowledge in cable assemblies, harnesses, or related electrical systems
Ability to interpret technical drawings and customer requirements
Experience with AutoCAD (2D drawings) or similar software is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a flair for building client relationships
A proactive approach and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
