This position will be home based but requires travel across the UK to meet with customers, and occasional overseas travel for exhibitions and supplier consultations. Our Innovation Hub and head office is in the Midlands.

Job Function:



Drive the growth of the Nutritional Supplements strategy by meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets. Build and nurture lasting relationships with key stakeholders across the supplements industry. Identify emerging business opportunities and convert them into successful partnerships by leveraging your deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and customer needs. Collaborate cross-functionally with the Lake Innovation and Manufacturing teams to develop and promote cutting-edge nutritional solutions that deliver Ultimate Customer Value. Provide technical advice and support to customers, applying your expertise in nutrition science and formulation technology to help them overcome challenges and enhance their product performance.

Key Responsibilities of your new role:



Achieve quarterly and annual sales budgets for a range of defined Ingredients/raw materials at defined prices Ensure, lead, and measure beneficial customer relationships by making frequent customer and prospect visits and achieving service levels that demonstrate your division's values Capture your sales information and activities on our Customer Relationship Management software Develop key markets through defined strategies guided by our innovative business strategy

Manufacturer Relationships:



Build strong relationships with manufacturers of all key organic product groups Gather and share marketing information Ensure adequate UK stock availability Provide supplier partners with reports, sales figures, market insights, and product development feedback Identify and cultivate new supplier partners

Training:



Take part in ongoing training and development sessions

Responsibilities:



Seasoned technical salesperson conversant in and knowledgeable of the UK Nutritional Supplements market. Successful candidate must be willing and enthusiastic about regular travel Experienced and known to UK companies and customers. Excellent communicator at all levels. Able to fulfil customer purchasing requirements. A completer/finisher. A hunter. Technical education to BSc or equivalent industrial experience. Determination, energy, tenacity, enthusiasm, and loyalty.

Pay: Up to 55,000.00 per year
